September 14th, 1998
Dear Diary,
Today was Willow's birthday. Me and a friend of hers named Miranda took her to get some food. It wasn't very good. After we got back, I instant messaged my mom and she talked about helping me getting a computer! How exciting! She said my family has more money than they ever have before since she started using Ebay. That's insane, computers are like....thousands of dollars...! My scholarship doesn't cover THAT much, so we really must be doing well. Cool! Anyway she said she's gonna drive here next friday and we can get a computer then! How cool, right? I'll let you know how it goes! I'll stay in touch.
