September 11th, 1998
Dear Diary,
Happy Friday! I did it! The first week of school has officially passed! There isn't gonna be much going on for me today except homework. It should totally be illegal to give students homework on the first week of classes. Lame, right? Anyway, that's about it. Things aren't super happening right now. Willow's actually been really cool. She showed me these cool things called "Worlds" and "geocity" today. Lately, she lets me sit behind her on the bed and watch her use the internet explorer. For the first time, I used her computer today! I went on and checked my email. I also decided to use the AOL messenger and talked to my mom for a little bit. She said she misses me, and also said she was learning how to use Ebay and geocity too! Isn't that super cool? My mom is a computer genius! Well, that's all for now. I'll stay in touch.
